Why Locals Love Noodles and Company
Situated in the vibrant heart of Tempe, Arizona, Noodles and Company is a delightful fast-casual restaurant that masterfully blends global flavors into one satisfying dining experience. Specializing in a diverse array of pasta, noodle, soup, and salad dishes, this culinary haven offers a world tour on a plate, making it an irresistible destination for lunch, takeout, or catering needs.
The menu bursts with artistry and flavor, featuring standout dishes that have quickly become local favorites. Imagine savoring the Chili Garlic Ramen, where tender ramen noodles are lovingly sautéed in a spicy soy sauce, mingling harmoniously with crisp napa and red cabbage, vibrant spinach, and a shower of scallions, parmesan, and an exotic Asian spice blend. Each bite delivers a thrilling balance of heat, umami, and freshness that lingers long after the last forkful.
If you’re craving something with a tangy citrus zip and crunchy peanuts, the Pad Thai is a must-try. This stir-fried rice noodle dish combines scrambled egg, napa and red cabbage, and fresh herbs like scallions and cilantro, creating a symphony of textures and flavors that feel both comforting and adventurous. For lovers of traditional Japanese fare, the Japanese Pan Noodles offer caramelized udon dressed in a sweet soy sauce, paired with tender broccoli, earthy mushrooms, and sweet carrots, all garnished with nutty black sesame seeds—each mouthful deeply satisfying.
Beyond noodles, the Salad & Soup selection brings bright and fresh options to the table. The Chicken Caesar Salad is a classic done right, with crisp romaine, grilled chicken, parmesan, and garlicky croutons swirled in creamy Caesar dressing. For a Mediterranean flair, the Mediterranean Chicken Salad surprises with mixed greens dressed in a spicy yogurt sauce, accented by juicy tomatoes, Kalamata olives, and tangy feta cheese. And then there’s the house-favorite Chicken Noodle Soup, a warm and hearty bowl brimming with tender chicken, savory broth, celery, and perfectly cooked wavy egg noodles—comfort in every spoonful.
No visit is complete without sampling the tempting sides. The Potstickers arrive steamed just right, with juicy chicken dumplings perfect for dipping in savory soy sauce, while the Korean BBQ Meatballs deliver a sweet and spicy kick, glazed in a tangy gochujang barbecue sauce. And let's not forget the Cheesy Garlic Bread—a golden, buttery petite baguette topped with parmesan, garlic, Italian herbs, and marinara that’s utterly addictive.
The dining atmosphere at Noodles and Company reflects the quality of its cuisine. The inviting space is clean and welcoming, with friendly staff adding a personal touch that guests appreciate. Real stories from patrons like Christopher Mollo, who praises the consistency and freshness of the chicken soup and roasted garlic cheese tortellini, and Abigail Fulop, who found joy not just in the robust flavors of the Pad Thai but also in the attentive care from staff, further elevate the establishment’s reputation. I discovered this place about two months ago, and I have ordered at least half a dozen times since. The food is always delicious, in particular, the chicken soup, pad Thai, and roasted garlic cheese tortellini. I have not been disappointed with any of the dishes. It's a great place!

I loved my my dish, the pasta was cooked just perfectly & the pesto sauce was amazing. Will be getting some meatballs next time just to try something else but the steak was perfect as well. Very flavorful & it wasn't too expensive.

The Spicy Korean Noodles were really good, I personally felt the portion size was a little smaller than usual. Overall, though, it was delicious.

Such wonderful staff! I ended up getting a call about a second interview for a job i applied for and they gave me a congratulatory rice crispy <3 the prices are really good and cheap for the level of quality. I got the pad thai which tasted amazing! Very flavorful and fresh. They have options for people who are trying to diet.

This was my first time dining at Noodles and Company, and I was very pleasantly surprised. The staff were welcoming and friendly, the dining area was clean, and the food (I ordered the buffalo chicken ranch mac & cheese) was fresh and delicious. There was even clear effort put into the presentation of the dish as well, which I never would have expected from a popular chain restaurant. Highly recommended!

Carb heaven for cheap. Decided to try for small plates of flavor town for the price of one steak dinner. $28 covered these 4 plates and 2 drinks. Place is set up as a fast food restaurant, chipotle style -almost, but without seeing the food. So more like a...PeiWei on a carb overdose. The flavors were decent for what you are paying, don't expect a Michelin star cohesive sauce if you are paying a single digit number for the plate. No, you a are paying an expedited order of some neatly prepared-and-ready pasta and sauce combo. Seating was clean and concise. One thing I really liked is that they had a Coca-Cola Machine, the type that has close to 1,000+ flavors. Huge boost of sales, in particular because you can have your own tasting station, different flavor syrups for different flavor sauces. Tik for tak if you will. My favorite being the Grape Zero Sprite. My favorite pasta has to be the pesto, the delicious sauce and the noddle, which was the iron spiral cut that carries extra texture and extra sauce with every bit, created a 10/10 meal. From Left to Right Zucchini Noddle Pad Thai, Buttered Noodle, Pesto Cavatappi, and Buffalo Chicken Mac.

Didn’t have high expectations for this place. However having tried it i will say i would recommend and go again. Mainly for convenience and if wanted quick noodles or fast food pasta. Nothing is like handmade or from scratch but i will say everything we had was pretty tasty. The tortellini pasta with garlic Alfredo sauce was really good. The shrimp and noodles were good could have had a bit more sauce. And portions could have been bigger we went with the largest size was expecting a bit more. Dumplings were fine but of course they were frozen beforehand. Not complaining. Like i said everything we had was tasty. Staff was pretty decent from our experience. Ordering was easy, food order came out really fast, and had lots of options.
